Law enforcement activities are a significant liability exposure for any city or town. That's why the League's Risk Management Services is committed to providing law enforcement agencies the resources they need to help manage these risks.
The League's Shield Services is available to law enforcement agencies who belong to the Property & Casualty Trust and Workers' Compensation Trust.
Our Shield Services staff includes professionals with extensive law enforcement management experience and are available to assist our members with complex policing issues. We also consult with the League's Police Chiefs Advisory Committee to identify emerging trends and training needs.
